In an effort to raise funds for Colorado flood victims, Lakewood High School students made this lip dub version of Katy Perry's newest single; Roar. The Tigers, more than 2,000 of them, stomped the LHS campus truly showing their stripes. No class time was used in the one shot production. Students volunteered their time and energy to speak up for a community, a state, in need. In hopes of winning a private concert with Perry, the students would like to sell tickets to the event, moving it to a bigger venue, with proceeds going to Colorado flood relief. Perry has seen the video, loved it, and even gave a shout out to LHS-
"Oh my GAWD. Now this is what I call school SPIRIT! I hear you roaring LAKEWOOD HIGH!" @katyperry
Good Luck Lakewood High School! Colorado is keeping their fingers crossed!!!
